I was commissioned by a LED manufacturer to design a series of LED lamps. EGO no1 is a table lamp with wireless charging capability. The form resonates with a traditional lantern. It was designed to fulfill multiple user scenarios.
When the top part is flipped open, the lamp works as a table lamp; it can be carried to patio or other outdoor places thanks to its build in batteries.
The switch is located on top of the lamp; push it to turn the lamp on or off and rotate it to adjust brightness.
