I was commissioned to design the new Ninetars 60L sensor kitchen can. The goal was to use their existing technology to achieve better user experience.

The project soon became more than about problem solving and making a good design decisions. It was challenging to collaborate with the Chinese engineer team from early on to revise important features. I was constantly pushing every detail until a better user experience was achieved. Although the final result was not ideal, the process of designing the sensor can addressed many problems and the solutions were applied to their later products.
